Archway, a band from the Meadville-Jamestown area, includes lead vocalist and guitarist Shane Kilgore, secondary vocalist and guitarist Tommy Shannon, drummer Josh Studnicki, and bassist Tyler Hickernell. The group plays punk music that they describe as “expressive” and “aggressive.” The band was formed in 2012 by the same members of a band that had broken up years before, after only playing one show. Since its reunion under a different name, Archway has been playing venues all over Erie, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland, and has toured in many other states in the country. The range of cities that Archway has travelled to speaks to the sheer volume of locations where the punk rock scene spreads and thrives beyond Erie, PA.
