Basement Transmissions
Bob Jensen
Founder & Owner of Basement Transmissions
Bob Jensen is an extremely talented, driven, and caring person who has been pushing people to express their artistic passions since he was young. Bob started off having bands in his basement for practice, where it grew into a small record label. He set up shows, released music, and promoted these artists. Once Bob went to Edinboro University, he pursued an art major but still continued to incorporate music into his studies. Throughout college he would hold art exhibitions and have bands play at a venue that he owned. Attending Edinboro University for graduate school, he became more musically established, while still working with his Basement Transmissions venue for music promoting. Although he needed some help along the way, Bob was able to keep and watch his venue grow and took an opportunity that he saw for a new, larger venue area. Basement Transmissions now hosts several types of venues within. Bob of course hosts bands for shows, practicing, recording, and more. There’s a church inside, an area for community gathering, like a sewing circle, and he even has a room for sculpting, painting, and other artistic outlets. Bob has taken his passions, along with those who share similar passions, to drive his business forward with a community mindset. He truly cares about those who participate in and benefit from his venue. In the future, Bob plans to continue expanding and planning for new ways to connect with the community and their artistic passions.
