MEADIAVILLE

Genetically Enhanced Super Humans, otherwise known as GESH, is a band from the Meadville-Erie area that classifies itself as strictly not pop punk. The band was formed in 2011 by guitarists Ricky Twizzler and Monster Truck. While Monster Truck is no longer a member of GESH, a local drummer, Slim Andy Shakes, joined the band in 2015. Now, Ricky and Andy are charging ahead with plans for more tours and music production. The two typically play in Erie, where they believe the punk scene is larger and more sustainable than the base in Meadville. Their musical taste is something they believe to be more true and authentic to the punk that they began listening to, and they hope to keep that music alive.
