Early Life:

Rebels, Refugees, and Russians: The unusual pasts of Allegheny Professors

By following four different Allegheny professors this podcast will show how their early life (high school, higher education, traveling, family experiences, activism, etc.) has affected their teaching style/career at Allegheny. We will discuss what Kathy Davidson calls the “quarter life crisis” of many students graduating undergraduate and graduate school and show how these professors went through this same quarter-life crisis, the same crisis many graduating students at Allegheny may be dreading. However,  through the stories of these four professors, you ultimately see this is not something to dread, but something to be thankful for because of the experiences you will gain and the places you will go.
